ABOUT AISHA BINT HUSSEIN
Member of the royal family of Jordan, sister of King Abdullah II and twin sister of Princess Zein. She is a major general in the Jordanian Military and is a diplomat, working with the Jordanian Embassy to the United States.
She received a masters degree in Strategic Security Studies at the National Defence University in Washington, D.C.
She is the first woman in the Middle East to earn her parachutist wings in the military.
She is married to Ashraf Banayoti, who used to be known as Ernest Anderson.
She is most commonly associated with her father, King Hussein of Jordan .
