ABOUT AFUA RIDA

Ghanaian designer, businesswoman, online content creator, social media personality, Instagram star, entrepreneur, and fashion influencer. Her self-titled Instagram account and in-person store elevate her work and the work of other African designers.

At Concordia University, she earned a degree in psychology. She then went to study interior design at the New York School of Interior Design.

She and her sister opened a store in Ghana called "Oma," named for their mother. The shop had previously been owned by their mother. She is a health advocate. She features several photos and stills devoted to bridal styling on her Instagram page.

Her sister Hayet Rida is also a content creator.

In March 2024, she was featured in the same International Women's Day post as Lisa Folawiyo and Adanna Madueke .
