Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Houston Astros during the second round of the 2011 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Milwaukee Brewers via trade in July 2015.

He began his professional career playing for the Astros' rookie affiliate team the GCL Astros.

He made his major league debut pitching against the St. Louis Cardinals on September 26, 2015 as a member of the Brewers.

His cousin Bob Davis was a former major league catcher.

He was once packaged in a trade that included Carlos Gómez .
