Adam Horovitz

ABOUT ADAM HOROVITZ

American musician better known as Ad-Rock, the guitarist for the Beastie Boys . He is also a producer, rapper, and actor.

He performed in a band called The Young and the Useless, which accompanied The Beastie Boys, thus paving the way for his shot with the band.

He has acted in multiple TV series and films, including roles in the features Lost Angels and While We're Young. In the early part of his acting career, he pursued parts as a James Dean-type.

He married Ione Skye in 1991; after their divorce in 1999, he married Kathleen Hanna in 2006. He is the son of actor/writer/director/producer Israel Horovitz.

He and Mike Diamond were bandmates in the Beastie Boys.
