ABOUT AARON BOWEN
San Diego native known for his heavy and highly-technical style of guitar playing. He is best known as a member of the underground bands Red Square Black and Crimson Glory.
He has cited an array of influences ranging from The Beach Boys' Brian Wilson to famed animator Walt Disney .
As a touring member of Crimson Glory during their "Transcendence" tour, he became notorious for wearing a striped sleeping gown on stage, complete with a night cap.
His father, Richard Bowen, was a member of the 60's band Mother Goose.
He once had a chance encounter with Buckethead after he was sent the reclusive guitar virtuoso's apartment as a maintenance man.
